By connecting Brevo to ConvertFlow, you can now personalize your website for your Brevo contact segments.

Using ConvertFlow's visual builder, you can design landing pages, forms, popups, surveys, quizzes, sticky bars, embedded content, and more, all of which can be dynamically displayed on your website to returning Brevo contact segments based on conditions.

Dynamically displaying website content for Brevo contact segments

Once you've connected your Brevo account, you'll now find these Brevo targeting condition options:

  • If person is subscribed to list in Brevo

  • If person is NOT subscribed to list in Brevo

  • If custom field contains value in Brevo

  • If custom field does NOT contain value in Brevo

When building a call-to-action in ConvertFlow, to display it only for a certain Brevo contact segment, head to the Launch page and you'll be able to add Brevo targeting conditions by clicking "Add Condition".

Click the dropdown field to select a condition type, and you'll now see there are Brevo targeting conditions to select from.

Select a condition type, enter any additional info needed for the automation and then click "Create Condition".

Once you've clicked to create the condition, it will then display above in the targeting conditions list for that campaign. If you want to delete it, click the "X" icon to the right of the condition.

Personalizing website content with Brevo contact fields

Using ConvertFlow's personalization merge tags, you display dynamic text content using Brevo contact fields.

Some ideas for merge tag personalization on your website include:

  • Greeting returning contacts by their first name to welcome them back to your website

  • Localizing your messaging by mentioning the current subscriber's city, state, and country.

  • Displaying the Brevo contact's custom field interest selections in your website copy

For example: Welcome back ({person.firstname}), are you shopping for your ({person.sendinblue.PET_TYPE}) today? Check out our latest ({person.sendinblue.PET_TYPE}) toys...

When ConvertFlow syncs a contact record with a Brevo contact, it pulls in their Brevo contact fields to populate these personalization merge tags.

In ConvertFlow's campaign builder, when editing text elements, click on the "Personalize" option and you can add preset contact field merge tags, as well as merge tags for your Brevo custom fields.

Personalizing funnel outcomes for Brevo segments

In ConvertFlow, you can build multi-step funnel pages, forms, and surveys that conditionally display personalized outcomes to people based on their progress, as well as based on their contact segmentation in Brevo.

For example, by using conditional actions, when a returning Brevo contact on your website engages with a survey, you can display a personalized outcome of that survey based on their current Brevo list subscription, as well as apply a specific Brevo tag.

You can also use skip logic to tailor your funnels for returning contacts based on their current Brevo segmentation. An example of this would be skipping contacts of a certain Brevo list past the email collection step of your funnel, so they don't have to re-enter their email address.

Targeting Sync – How to target your existing Brevo contacts

ConvertFlow syncs a visitor's tracking with their Brevo contact record when either...

  1. The visitor submits a form

  2. The visitor visits your website with their Brevo ID in the URL

So, this means that once ConvertFlow is installed on your website, you will be able to target all of your new form submissions by their Brevo data.

However, if you want to sync the tracking with your existing Brevo contact database, all you have to do is append their contact details to your email hyperlinks in Brevo, and ConvertFlow will sync their visitor session with their Brevo data.

You would do this by adding...

?sendinblue_id={EMAIL}

...to the end of all of your Brevo email’s links, like how you would add any other URL parameter.
