How to reset a text element's format

Clearing a text element's format may come in handy when using the ConvertFlow builder. This is because when pasting a text from another source into our elements or when text edits are unresponsive, clearing the formatting will allow editing the text from scratch.

NOTE: When pasting a text from a different platform into a ConvertFlow text element, we recommend pasting the text without formatting (cmd + shift + v) to avoid having other text styles carry over.

It's also useful because we have different layers in which a text can be edited:

The theme layer - Where the font styles can be set globally for the entire campaign

The headline and text elements settings - These settings will apply to the element selected overriding the theme styles:

Once a font is edited at an element level, it can be reset back to the theme style by selecting the "Theme Font" option:

The text editor - Font, size, colors, and more can be changed on a word and even letter individually overriding both the theme and elements settings.

Clicking the "Clear Formatting" icon in the text editor options to reset the text to its default format and start editing as expected again!
