Creating a loading screen between a quiz or survey step and a results step can be achieved in two different ways. The setup will depend on whether a quiz element is being used or not.
Within a quiz funnel
The quiz element already comes with a loader question feature. This question type will allow you to add a loader between multiple questions within the same quiz funnel.
Start by creating a new question where the loading screen will be:
When selecting the question type, choose "Show a Message":
This question type allows you to add a title, description, image, loader style (spinner or bar), and autoskip. This means you can use our native loader options or upload a custom GIF in the image options:
This question allows you to set separate logic based on the previous question's answers in a conditional jump, or continue with the default funnel jump to the next question:
Within a campaign funnel
If the quiz element is not in use, it's still possible to build a loading step using a timer element. The timer element lets you auto-jump from one step to another, like a loading screen would.
Start by creating a step where the loading screen will be and add a Timer Element:
Set the timer type to relative, enable the "Reload Timer Upon Load" toggle, and set the timer to the number of seconds the screen will be loading:
In the "Timer End Action" options, select "Jump to a step" and choose the funnel step it will jump to:
The timer can be styled to be part of the loading screen, or can be made transparent so it's not visible:
In place of the loader, an image element can be used to add a loading GIF.
