With the image manager and element, it's possible to add images or gifs to backgrounds, sections, columns, rows, and buttons.

The image manager will pop up any time an image needs to be added to a campaign, either through the background/overlay image section:

When using the image element:

Or when adding an image to a different element (text, button, survey, quiz):

It's possible to upload images from four different sources, the device, the account's library, UnSplash, and using the image URL:

All images uploaded to the image manager will be stored in the website's image library, so you may see duplicate images since each time the image is used in a new element, a new version of the image is created.

Image requirements

Here are some important things to keep in mind when using our image manager and image element:

  • Accepted image formats include - jpeg, jpg, png, and gif

  • The file name shouldn't contain any special characters. These include but are not limited to !"#$%&/()=?¡¿*+¨´[{]}-_.:,;°.

  • The file size should be 5MB or less. To guarantee an image maintains its quality, we recommend making sure it's at least 150 PPI.

  • The image manages a security filter that will flag images that it deems inappropriate. This flag may be bypassed by changing the image colors so flesh colors aren't used or by a simple edit like flipping the image.

NOTE: This filter only applies to accounts on a free trial of our paid plans or the Free Plan

When any of the options above are breached, the image manager may seem like it's uploading but the image won't actually be added to the campaign.

Although we don't provide the dimensions for images to be uploaded as these vary based on the size of the container, as long as the image is of similar proportions to the area it's added to, it will adapt to the container area.

It's possible to use the computer's screenshot tool to measure any container. By taking a screenshot of the container or area where the image is going to be added, the screenshot data will show the area's dimensions:

Image editing

The image manager allows for limited editing options such as square or circle cropping and rotation:

Background and overlay image options will have options to edit the image position and sizing within the container:

The image element editing options include adjusting the image position using the padding tool, alignment, and image width:

As well as setting the image width, adding a shadow, and getting the image's custom code data:
