If lead alert emails aren't being sent to the specified emails after adding the automation to the campaign, please check the following:

  • Make sure app@convertflow.com is whitelisted in the email service:

  • Check the spam or junk mailbox, notification emails are sent from app@convertflow.com.

  • When using multiple email addresses make sure the addresses are comma and space separated (example: support@convertflow.com, privacy@convertflow.com).

  • Lead alert emails will only be sent if the contact is identified in ConvertFlow, this means they should have provided an email or phone number to create a contact profile.

  • Company emails are more likely to be blocked by our email security system, we recommend using a Gmail email (or any other personal emailing system) to check if the issue is the company email.
NOTE: If the company email is the only one affected, please reach out via the chat widget or email us at support@convertflow.com so we can check our server settings.

Email Sender

The email sender can be defined in the account settings. This means all websites on the account will receive email notifications from the same email address:

Email Format

In the website settings, it's possible to set the email format for either plain text or styled:

Email Content

The contents of the email will include all data available in the contact's profile up to the point where the automation was set up.

If an anonymous visitor is identified with a form, the send lead alert automation should be added to the form's button as the email will only be sent when a contact profile is created.

If a contact is already identified in ConvertFlow, the email will be sent on every step where the "Send lead alert" automation is added. Each email will contain all the information available in the contact profile until that moment.
